2020 Vision: What You Need to Know About the Census

The 2020 Census is a critical piece of our democracy, but counting everyone who lives in the United States is a colossal task. Getting an accurate number has major implications for our state - it determines the allocation of federal funds and of seats in the House of Representatives (North Carolina is poised for an additional seat). These factors make it critical to the work of philanthropy.

Grantmaking for the 21st Century

Are you new to philanthropy or North Carolina? Are you looking for a detailed professional development opportunity to discuss topics like evaluation, advocacy, money and power, equity, the history of philanthropy and more?

Then "Grantmaking for the 21st Century" is the program for you!

Join NCNG colleagues from around the state in Raleigh on August 15th and 16th. You'll hear from seasoned foundation leaders, get to know a room full of new folks, and walk away with tools and skills to help you in your work.

A participant last year said, "The program had a good mix of learning and activities - ample time to connect with others, interesting subject matter, and I learned of new resources - always good!"
