The Foundation for a Healthy High Point Announces New Board Member

High Point, N.C. - The Foundation for a Healthy High Point welcomes Stephanie Johnson to its Board of Directors. Ms. Johnson brings great knowledge and insights about Greater High Point to the Foundation's Board of Directors' said Tina Markanda, Executive Director of the Foundation. Johnson is a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and brings over 20 years of experience in the finance industry to the Foundation's leadership.
 

High Point, N.C. � The Foundation for a Healthy High Point welcomes Stephanie Johnson to its Board of Directors. �Ms. Johnson brings great knowledge and insights about Greater High Point to the Foundation�s Board of Directors� said Tina Markanda, Executive Director of the Foundation. Johnson is a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors and brings over 20 years of experience in the finance industry to the Foundation�s leadership.

As a newly elected member of the board, Johnson will join a dedicated group of volunteers who provide leadership and guidance for the Foundation and its mission to encourage, support, influence and invest in efforts that improve health and wellness throughout the Greater High Point community.

Board Member David Horney concluded his tenure as a founding board member at the end of 2016. �Mr. Horney provided strong leadership and an expansive vision for the work of the Foundation to make a measurable impact on health and wellness in our community� said Jim Keever, Board Chairman for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point.

 

The Foundation for a Healthy High Point was established in 2013 through the merger of High Point Regional Health and UNC Health Care.  The mission of the Foundation is to encourage, support, influence, and invest in efforts that improve health and wellness throughout the Greater High Point community, which includes High Point, Jamestown, Archdale and Trinity.
