Brunswick County Community Foundation announces new board members

The board of advisors of the Brunswick County Community Foundation announces new advisory board members, according to Barbara Patten, board president.
 
 
Joining the board are:
 
  • Rosemarie Ryan, a St. James resident with more than 30 years of nonprofit, educational and civic service. She is a two-time recipient of the Old North State Award.
  • Mary Walton, an Ash resident and serves on the board of directors of the Roosevelt and Ruth Educational and Recreational Foundation.
  • Justin Wolfe, a North Carolina native, graduate of NC State University and local small business owner. He also serves as the president of the North Carolina Azalea Festival.
 
“We are very excited to have these leaders join our board,” Patten said. “We look forward to working with them to benefit our local community.”
 
About the Brunswick County Community Foundation
The Brunswick County Community Foundation was founded in 1997 and is an affiliate foundation of the North Carolina Community Foundation. BCCF is led by a local volunteer advisory board that helps build community assets through the creation of permanent endowments, makes grants and leverages leadership – all for the benefit of Brunswick County. In addition to Patten, board members include: Jayne Mathews (vice president), Julie Wolfe (secretary/treasurer), Cindy Cheatham, Mike Gildea, Heather Holbrook, Franklin Rouse, Rosemarie Ryan, Mary Walton and Justin Wolfe.
