“Champions of Change: The Urgency of Now” The Women’s Fund of Winston-Salem Celebrates the Power of Passionate Giving at its Thirteenth Annual Luncheon

11/1/2018

Winston-Salem, NC – For the past 13 years, members of The Women’s Fund of Winston-Salem have worked together to make a difference in the lives of women and girls in our community. Through the power of collective giving, members of The Women’s Fund seek to support local programs that address the social issues affecting the economic security of women and girls in Forsyth County.  Over the past 11 years, the Fund has awarded over $1.4 million in grants — to support our vision that women and girls of all background have equal opportunities, and the skills and resources to be independent, self-sufficient and contributing members of the community.

This year, nearly $110,000 in grants will be announced and awarded to the recipients during the 13th annual luncheon. Join us on November 15th as we award our 2018 grants and celebrate the positive, lasting impact that we can have in our community as champions of change.
