The Foundation for a Healthy High Point, a private foundation that invests in the advancement of health and wellness for High Point residents, reviews its 2017 grantmaking.

 

The Foundation for a Healthy High Point, a private foundation that invests in the advancement of health and wellness for High Point residents, reviews its 2017 grantmaking.

High Point, N.C. — In 2017, the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point approved $645,399 in grant awards to 12 organizations. These funds support projects in areas of teen pregnancy prevention and early intervention, behavioral health, and other services.

“The grants approved by the Foundation’s Board represent strong collaboration among organizations that are committed to improving health and wellness in High Point”, said Jim Keever, Board Chairman for the Foundation. “The Foundation continues to make investments in agencies committed to making measurable impact in our community” said Tina Markanda, Executive Director of the Foundation for a Healthy High Point.

Since the Foundation's inception, the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point has approved $7,415,262 in grant awards.
