Q: What role do funders play in the NPIP program? 


A: Funders play a variety of roles including, but not limited to, collaborating on long term strategy for the program, participating and engaging in the opening and closing sessions, and assisting host sites in developing intern work plans.
 
 

Q: Is there a minimum number of interns I must fund? 


A: Nope! Our program is designed for funders of any size. You can fund one intern, fifteen, or any number in between. 

 

Q: What is the cost per intern? 


A: Currently, it is about $8,000. This includes the intern stipend, general operating support for the nonprofit host site, an intern travel stipend, hard costs for the opening and closing session, and NCNG’s management fee.
