Below are a few questions we receive regularly - if you have a question beyond what is included below, please feel free to contact us.
We are, first and foremost, a network of foundations, so the first way we can help is to connect you to your grantmaking peers in the state. We can help you find funders with shared interests, connect you to staff or board members who have a particular expertise or knowledge in a community - and we're always available to talk shop.
We also offer dozens of programs each year to help you learn best practices, share with one another, and connect to local and national resources.
And, we hope that you will call us if ever you run into a challenge - we have access to resources and knowledge throughout the philanthropic sector that might be helpful.
Membership in NCNG is limited to grantmaking organizations that award charitable grants in North Carolina. Typically, these are private, community, or family foundations, or corporate giving programs. If you think your organization might be eligible for membership, please feel free to contact us.
We do not connect nonprofits to grantmakers and cannot make suggestions of foundations that might fund your organization.
