WHAT IS THE BEST PART OF YOUR JOB?

My favorite part so far has been meeting the various team members and organizations that we support and being able to hear the impact their work has on the citizens of North Carolina.

WHY DO YOU LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE?

I love where I live in Cumberland County because I am close to many equestrian communities like Tryon International Equestrian Center and Carolina Horse Park which grants me the opportunity to continue to promote DEI within the equestrian community because of where I am located.

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR PLAYLIST?

Most played song on my playlist is by HUH YUNJIN, a Korean artist, called love you twice. I have an eclectic taste in music though and will listen to French rap, K-Pop, C-hip hop and Alternative rock all in one day.

FAVORITE BOOK?

My favorite books are Legendborn & Bloodmarked which is a series of books written by NC native, Tracy Deonn. I’d recommend these books to anyone who wants a detailed page turning novel that has a black female protagonist.
