I love meeting our members, learning more about their work, and understanding how NCNG can support them through programming and the Annual Meeting. 

WHAT DO YOU ACTUALLY DO ALL DAY?

Since starting in mid-June 2022, I've been learning more about grantmaking practices and meeting with members to learn more about NCNG from their perspectives! 

WHY DO YOU LOVE WHERE YOU LIVE?

I'm grateful for all of the arts and culture close by - I love the Durham County Library system, Nasher Museum, NC Museum of Art, Sarah P. Duke Gardens, Durham Art Guild and so many more!   

MOST PLAYED SONG ON YOUR PLAYLIST?

Kishi Bashi's album Omoiyari is on repeat for me most often. ("Omoiyari" is the idea that thinking of others fosters compassion.) Favorite song on the album: Marigolds. 

FAVORITE BOOK?

Being Mortal: Medicine and What Matters in the End by Atul Gawande is a book I recommend to everyone I know.
