How can philanthropy harness AI's potential while staying rooted in values, ethics, and inclusion? This session will explore how grantmakers can integrate AI tools thoughtfully and responsibly—supporting innovation without reinforcing bias or systemic barriers. Participants will gain insight into emerging tools, ethical considerations, and the infrastructure needed to navigate AI’s role in grantmaking.
Details
This is the second session in our virtual learning series that explores efforts to create more inclusive opportunities and futures across North Carolina. From news and information ecosystems, employment opportunities, farmers and food systems, voting rights and democracy, to AI, we’ll examine how communities are leading change, forging relationships, and driving solutions.
Rooted in NCNG’s mission to connect, equip, and inspire grantmakers, this learning series works to strengthen philanthropy’s role in building more inclusive futures and a North Carolina where all communities are valued, thriving, and empowered.
