Getting Grounded in Grantmaking: An Introduction to NC Philanthropy

Are you new to philanthropy? Wanting to learn a bit more about the philanthropic sector, explore power and equity, and understand how your work "fits" into the fabric of philanthropy?  This is the perfect workshop for you. This workshop provides you with the opportunity to:
·        Build a knowledge base about the philanthropic landscape in North Carolina and beyond
·        Increase self and role-awareness in work
·        Consider public and cultural narratives about power in philanthropy
·        Explore personal frameworks around diversity, equity, and inclusion
·        Establish a new and lasting network of other North Carolina Grantmakers

We hope you are able to join us no matter if you are new to your career or new to philanthropy.

This event will take place in person in Burlington, NC at Impact Alamance on Thursday, January 23, 2025 in Burlington, NC. 

Cost: $125
Registration fee covers snacks and lunch as well as NCNG’s Philanthropy Toolkit, all slides/participant guides from the session, and other helpful resources.
