NCNG Conference: Connect, Equip and Inspire

2022 is a big year for NCNG – we’ll be celebrating 20 years of the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers! Two decades ago, several funders came together with the idea of creating conversations, relationships and learning opportunities for those in philanthropy in North Carolina. And, while our network has grown and changed, our core work to Connect, Equip and Inspire grantmakers carries on, with the ultimate vision that all communities in North Carolina are valued and thriving, and are empowered and supported by a robust philanthropic network.

The 2022 Annual Meeting and Conference will be an opportunity to reflect and celebrate where we've been, where we are now, and where we're headed as a philanthropic sector. As always, we’ll have sessions that will help you connect with and learn from your peers, hear about best practices, and tackle some tough questions. The Planning Committee has been hard at work creating sessions centered around our vision, mission, and core values: Collaboration, Inclusion, Community, Integrity, and Curiosity.

Details

This conference will look different – so different, in fact, that we probably won’t know if we’re able to have an in-person option until January! It is our hope that those that are comfortable with it can gather in Winston-Salem on March 7th for day one of the conference (it will still be simulcast online if that is your preference!), but we want to be sure that it’s safe for you, our team, and the venue staff before we make it official.

In the meantime, we hope you’ll register for the amazing online content we have planned for you over four days. We’re learning to love the accessibility of an online platform, which gives us the ability to lower registration costs and include folks for whom travel might be a barrier. We know it’s much harder to clear your calendar for a virtual conference, so the Planning Committee has worked hard to provide sector-building, critical content, and we’ve structured the week to provide a lot more breathing room for walks, and emails, and snacks! We’ll also make recorded sessions available for a year, so you can rest easy if something pops up.

Many thanks to our planning committee, former and current board members, members, sponsors, and the NCNG team for building a conference that is reflective of our wonderful network.

This event is open to NCNG members and grantmakers that fund in North Carolina only. Non-member grantmakers may register by calling 919-578-6437.
