Join us to understand how the definitions of "rural" vary and explore the narrative and funding implications of the difference in definitions with staff from the Center on Rural Innovation (CORI). CORI staff will share their findings from Phase 1 of their Rural Aperture project: Defining rural America: The consequences of how we count for the first half of the webinar and will open it up for questions and conversation for the second half.
Session Speakers: Mark Rembert, Director of Research and Knowledge Dani Douglas, Research and Policy Associate Defining Rural America is the first data story from CORI's ongoing work The Rural Aperture Project, funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, that uses data to shift the national conversation about racial and economic equity in rural places.
