NCNG and Capital Collaborative In Person Event

Join NCNG and Capital Collaborative, by Camelback Ventures on October 12th for a late afternoon funder networking and learning event. Capital Collaborative (co-led by our 2021 keynote speaker, Jessamyn Shams-Lau) will be convening a cohort of national funders for training in Durham, and we thought it would be fun to get everyone together for some networking and learning. Meet peers who are in Durham to learn about the community, further their equity journeys, and understand how we can build a more just philanthropic process. We’ll also enjoy some tasty beverages and talk about Capital Collaboratives programs designed specifically for White funders committed to furthering equity in their organizations.

Details

October 12th 5:00 P.M - 7:00 P.M

Please note:

For NCNG events with an anticipated attendance of 25 or more people, we will require masks for participants unless you are eating. We plan to keep meal times free from programming to allow for social distancing or outside meals where possible to encourage participation across varying levels of COVID comfort.

In addition, we want to provide any accessibility tools that enable your full participation. Please reach out to Megan Bostic at mbostic@ncgrantmakers.org if we can be helpful.

Due to our capacity, we're not planning to offer a hybrid option for this meeting. We're still learning how we can provide equitable digital access to our meetings like this, but we still have some learning to do to ensure that both online and in-person participants can participate fully. If you have best practices or ideas, let us know!
