Program Officer

Join our team: we are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a passion for community and philanthropy as Program Officer.

Job description:

This position works closely as part of a team with our President/CEO, Board members, Donors, Nonprofit organizations, and the full array of foundation staff. This position manages our overall grantmaking, especially related to our open-application process. Characteristics within this work requires awareness of multiple grantmaking strategies and the ability to relate to diverse constituent groups. Strong analytical thinking with understanding of risk to outcome opportunities that fit within charitable giving.

Successful candidate must possess ability to plan, manage, organize and meet deadlines along with having strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across diverse
interests.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Non-profit related arenas or equivalent professional experience of not less than 5 years in a comparable position.
