Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation Announces Appointment of New Trustees

Cumberland Community Foundation Launches next community grant cycle with $562,500 available

Fayetteville, NC, July 17, 2018: Cumberland Community Foundation is announcing its Fall 2018 Community Grant Cycle. Grants are available to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that have their primary offices in Cumberland County, NC and provide services to residents of Cumberland County, NC. Qualified government agencies are also eligible, including as the school system, the public library, local universities, and departments of the City or County such as parks and recreation.

Mission Health creates Dogwood Health Trust for proceeds of potential sale

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (July 16, 2018)– The Board of Directors of Mission Health System, Inc. (“MHS”) is pleased to announce the creation of the Dogwood Health Trust (“DHT”), a North Carolina nonprofit, private non-operating foundation. As set forth in its articles of incorporation, DHT’s sole purpose is: “to dramatically improve the health and well-being of all people and communities of Western North Carolina.” This purpose continues and both builds upon and expands the 133-year mission of MHS.
