The Winston-Salem Foundation Gives $75,000 to Kaleideum

Kaleideum received a $75,000 Community Grant to support the 2016 merger of the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem and SciWorks, the Science Center and Environmental Park of Forsyth County. Since 1991, the Foundation has supported the two organizations with more than $775,000 in grants.

Carteret Community Foundation awards more than $50,000 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Carteret Community Foundation announces $54,605 in local grant awards from its community grantmaking fund, J. O. and Ruth Barbour Memorial Fund for Elementary Education in Carteret County, J. O. and Ruth Barbour Memorial Fund for Wildlife Habitat Conservation and Pearl's Pantry Fund, according to Richard McIntyre, board president.
