Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation awards more than $1,000 in local grants

The board of advisors of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation announces $1,620 in local awards from the community grantmaking fund, according to Stuart O’Neal Jr., board president.
 
 

This year the board will grant:

  • $810 to Daughters of Worth for general operating support

  • $810 to the Possumwood Acres Wildlife Sanctuary for the Come Find Your CENTER (Caring, Eco-Therapy, Nature, Tranquility, Raptors) program

O’Neal thanked the community for its support of the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation. “We are proud to support these nonprofit programs that are so important to our community,” he said. “We are grateful to the many generous individuals and organizations that have supported the Beaufort-Hyde Community Foundation and our work to inspire philanthropy across our community.”
