Black Philanthropy Initiative Announces Impact Grants

THE BLACK PHILANTHROPY INITIATIVE announced $7,000 in Impact Grants during Black History Month in February. BPI’s Impact Grants are investments in a variety of programs, projects, and initiatives supporting Forsyth County’s Black communities.
 
Robert Leak III, BPI’s Grants Committee Chair, notes, “We're grateful to be able to invest in Black-led organizations and communities of color. These grants provide an opportunity for groups to invest in their local community and create an impactful story for others to share.”
 
BPI's grantee partners include: Friends of the Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center, Happy Hill Neighborhood AssociationHeart of the Future Inc, Hope to Thrive, Hustle Winston-SalemThe Quality Truth Organization, and Winston-Salem Black Chamber of Commerce.
