Community Foundation of Henderson County's 19TH Annual MLK, Jr. Unity Breakfast

Hendersonville, N.C., January 8, 2019 – The Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Breakfast Committee is pleased to host the 19th annual breakfast at Blue Ridge Community College on Monday, January 21, 2019.

 
This year’s program, “Speak Up, Speak Out,” will feature Pastor Eric Gash as keynote speaker.  A Hendersonville native, Gash returned home in 2008 after playing football for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serving churches in the Caribbean.  Upon his return he started Speak Life Community Church and also serves as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Hendersonville High School.

Breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program directly following at 9:30 a.m.

Though a ticketed event, the MLK, Jr. Unity Breakfast is open to the public and will be held Blue Ridge Community College’s Technology Education & Development Center, in the Blue Ridge Conference Hall.

Tickets are required and may be purchased at Community Foundation of Henderson County’s office: 401 N. Main Street; Suite 300; 828-697-6224 for more information.  Additionally, tickets may be purchased at the door.  Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-12.
