The United Way of Greater Greensboro, City of Greensboro, and the foundation created an emergency response plan after the tornado relief effort. With this framework, we were able to work together to help alleviate some of the impact of the pandemic.

Thanks to your generosity, the Greensboro Virus Relief Taskforce has granted a total of $2,512,188,252 to over 100 local nonprofits helping thousands of individuals and families.

Our partnerships did not stop there. The foundation granted $100,500 to Guilford Education Alliance for their Laptop Project to help decrease the digital divide with Guilford County Schools' students thrusted into online learning. The CFGG Staff Giving Circle made a grant to Downtown Greensboro, Inc. to feed frontline workers. From housing to revolving loans to masks/ppe to Zoom licenses, the foundation helped you increase giving and maximize opportunities.
