The Duke Endowment Releases 2019 Annual Report: Partners in Progress

7/6/2020
For 95 years, The Duke Endowment has supported quality organizations in North Carolina and South Carolina to safeguard children, strengthen health care, bolster education and fortify spiritual life. Our founder directed us to use our resources to improve life in the Carolinas, and we are privileged to partner with others toward that shared goal.

In our 2019 Annual Report, we invite you to read stories of how we engage as “collaborating partners” in our Child and Family Well-Being program area, “innovating partners” in Health Care, “contributing partners” in Higher Education, and “initiating partners” in Rural Church. We chose our theme before COVID-19 wreaked havoc on our lives, but “Partners in Progress” seems especially appropriate today. It will take a collective effort – among grantees, philanthropy, public systems, experts in the field – to help communities and families recover.

We hope you will explore our online report to learn more.
