WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The Winston-Salem Foundation welcomes (l-r) Paula McCoy and Allan Younger to The Winston-Salem Foundation Committee, the Foundation’s primary governing body.

Paula McCoy
operates McCoy Enterprises, a consulting and coaching firm specializing in organizational and community development.  She previously served as executive director of Neighbors for Better Neighborhoods, whose mission is to connect people, strengthen voices, and leverage resources with a vision of safe, just, and determined neighborhoods. Ms. McCoy serves as interim director of The Partnership for Prosperity and is a board member of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County, and Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County.  Paula is also a past board member of Kaleideum.

Allan Younger serves as director of the Small Business Center at Forsyth Technical Community College.  The Center promotes economic development by helping small businesses succeed through high-quality, readily-accessible assistance to prospective and existing business owners.  He also owns GRACE Consulting, which provides leadership and professional development support to organizations.  Allan serves his community in many ways, including as board chair of Forsyth Futures, board member of the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities Commission, board vice president of the SG Atkins Community Development Corporation, and board member of HUSTLE Winston-Salem.

The Foundation is most appreciative of the leadership of Gary Green and Mike Wells who rotated off the Committee in December.
