The NC Disaster Relief Fund was established by Governor Hunt following Hurricane Floyd in 1999. Governor Cooper reactivated this fund as a result of Hurricane Florence and asked Golden LEAF to manage the distribution of these funds to eligible projects in the disaster affected communities.
