Legal Aid of NC has four offices and 50 staff in Western NC. They are expecting a huge influx of calls as individuals reach out to access federal resources and their complicated application processes. NC Counts Coalition has a strong statewide infrastructure of community-based organizations (CBOs) and are coordinating with their 14 western members to provide supplies and funding. They request that you consider supporting these community organizations directly or contribute to NC Counts, who will immediately regrant 100% of the funds to mobilize supplies at the request of their partners.
