NCNG Network Conversation - Federal Budget Cuts

Recently, the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust released a series of fact sheets regarding the devastating impacts of federal budget cuts. The bill passed earlier this year disrupts and limits access to health care, cuts spending for food assistance, and harms the health of immigrant families.

Philanthropy cannot cover these gaps, and we must work together with each other and our communities to face these challenges. 

Madison Allen, Senior Program Officer for Health Improvement in NC at Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, will walk us through their analysis and talk about some of the collaborative efforts underway to mitigate impacts for North Carolinians.
