Benjamin June Joins Clemmons Community Foundation

The Clemmons Community Foundation is pleased to announce and welcome to its staff team Benjamin June who will serve as Program Officer.

 

Benjamin comes to the foundation having worked in both business and nonprofit organizations. A graduate of UNC-Charlotte, Benjamin brings nonprofit experience in the areas of workforce development, transition services, volunteer coordination, youth counseling, and leadership. His business experience includes sales and marketing for an assisted living facility, product logistics, and management. His passion for helping people began at an early age, while assisting family and caregivers attend to the needs of his sister with special needs. It was in that environment where Benjamin learned the power of community and a commitment to support an improved quality of life for all. His breadth of personal and professional experience provides an invaluable perspective in the work of community philanthropy.
 
Benjamin is a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and has enrolled in the inaugural class of Leadership Lewisville Clemmons. He has also served in leadership roles in his church. Raised near Asheville, North Carolina, Benjamin now resides in Lewisville with his wife, Keturah, and two children. He looks forward to daily opportunities to support and serve the communities in which his daughters will grow up.
 
Benjamin will begin his position on September 3, 2019. In his role, he will be responsible for all aspects of community competitive grant-making and scholarship award processes and follow-up as well as liaison and coordinator for special programs and initiatives of the foundation.
