NCNG events are typically open only to members of NCNG. If you represent a foundation or corporate giving program that is not a member of NCNG, but would like to attend an event, please contact us to discuss your eligibility. If you are affiliated with an NCNG member, please sign in to register or contact Kiara Moore kmoore@ncgrantmakers.org to get set up with a profile.

Once you've logged in, scroll down to access the registration page. We accept Visa and Mastercard online or you may choose to pay by check. Event fees may be refunded for cancelled registrations if requested at least 15 days before an event.

Disaster Philanthropy Basics

We continue to watch what feels like a never-ending stream of disasters unfold in our local communities and around the globe – hurricanes, wildfires, a pandemic, floods, and human-made crises. For grantmakers, it’s crucial to know when to respond and how. Since 2010, the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) has been helping individuals, foundations and corporations increase the effectiveness of their philanthropic response to disasters and humanitarian crises.

Health Funders Summit 2024 Virtual Meeting

Join Team NCNG, fellow health funders, and NCDHHS for our spring health funders summit in beautiful western North Carolina! There will be opportunities to network, updates from funders, and presentations from our state partners. 

Representatives from the Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities, and Substance Use Services and theOffice of Rural Health will be discussing mental health services, anticipated gaps, and where philanthropy might be able to add value.

Supporting LGBTQ+ Communities Learning Community

NCNG is establishing a new learning community to bring members together who care about, are interested in, or are currently supporting LGBTQ+ communities. We recognize that supporting LGBTQ+ communities in North Carolina intersects with many funding priorities including healthcare and education, democracy and civic participation, as well as inclusion and equity efforts. All NCNG members are welcome to join regardless of your organizational role. These meetings will facilitate discussions on various strategies, priorities, and partnerships in supporting LGBTQ+ communities, and address questions or concerns from the group. Everyone is welcome.

BILPOC In Philanthropy Group Virtual Meeting

The primary objective of the BILPOC In Philanthropy group is to establish a dedicated forum for Black, Indigenous, Latine, and People of Color individuals, allowing them to share their philanthropic experiences in a secure and constructive environment. This platform is designed to celebrate and uplift BILPOC members across all generations. Ensuring the support and well-being of the NCNG BILPOC staff is integral to their retention and success within the philanthropic sector.
This virtual event will provide a unique opportunity for BILPOC individuals to come together, forge connections, and build networks.

Interested in learning how your organizational culture either supports or detracts from your organization’s effectiveness? Join Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO) in partnership with North Carolina Network of Grantmakers (NCNG) for this full day interactive workshop designed for mid- to senior-level leaders who are at the early stages of centering equity within their organizational culture or those who are looking to shift their organizational culture to center equity to better support their values, mission and goals.
